Presidential candidates for president 2008 The filed of presidential candidates running for president are all kinds of half ass contender. Most of them no one has ever heard of and the other half are looser from the past. There are only about two that have any chance at all and there from one party so far. Here’s the list of announced candidates and one who have a study group running.
Senator Christopher Dodd Christopher Dodd , was born May 27 , 1944 in Connecticut and is a U.S. Senator from that state. Dodd was reported to be a likely contender for the Democratic Vice President slot on John Kerry's ticket in 2004 . He is the first Senator from Connecticut to serve five consecutive terms. In May 2006, Dodd said he has "decided to do all the things that are necessary to prepare to seek the presidency in 2008", including hiring staff, raising money and traveling around the country in the next few months to enlist support. [1] On Jan. 11, 2007 , Dodd announced his Presidential candidacy on the " Don Imus in the Morning" radio show.
U.S. Senator from Connecticut : 1981-Present U.S. Representative from the Connecticut's 2nd congressional district : 1975-1981
John Edwards, former Senator
John Edwards , born June 10 , 1953 in South Carolina , former U.S. Senator from North Carolina and 2004 Democratic vice-presidential nominee. As a Presidential candidate, Edwards was famed for his populist message in his "Two Americas" Speech and also for his optimistic, positive attitude. This was evidenced by his refusal to attack his opponents. In the primaries, Sen. Edwards had strong come-from-behind showings in the crucial states of Iowa , Oklahoma , Virginia , Tennessee , Wisconsin , and Georgia . He also won the North Carolina caucus and the South Carolina primary. Edwards has kept his Federal Leadership PAC, the One America Committee [4] , active to help Democrats across the nation win elections in the future. On February 5 , 2005 , Edwards spoke at the New Hampshire Democratic Party's fundraising dinner. On August 18 , 2005 , Edwards traveled to Waterloo, Iowa to deliver an address to the Iowa AFL-CIO , a potential key supporter in the Iowa caucus . On December 16 , 2006 , Democratic officials reported that Edwards has expressed his intention to run in 2008. On December 26 , 2006 , Edwards announced his candidacy after a technical glitch launched his campaign website a day early.
U.S. Senator from North Carolina : 1999-2005 Mike Gravel, former Senator Mike Gravel , born May 13 , 1930 , in Springfield , Massachusetts . U.S. Senator from Alaska from 1969 to 1981 and an active candidate for Vice President in 1972. He was notable for advocating a guaranteed annual income , which he termed a "citizen's wage," of $5,000 per person, irrespective of whether the person worked. On April 13, 2006 , Gravel announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination. His policy announcements to date include support for direct democracy , FairTax and withdrawal from Iraq . His is considered a very longshot candidacy since former Sen. Gravel will be 78 years old at the time of the general election and will have been out of federal politics for almost three decades at the time of the election. Mike Gravel filed with the FEC in April according to various news sources. [3] [4] The FEC's site has listed his reports since July. [5]
U.S. Senator from Alaska : 1969–1981
Alaska State Representative: 1962-1966 (Speaker: 1965-1966)
Representative Dennis Kucinich
Dennis Kucinich , born October 8 , 1946 , Ohio Congressman and 2004 Democratic primary candidate. Kucinich got the second highest number of votes at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Kucinich threw his support behind Kerry after losing the nomination, although a sizable number of Kucinich's delegates refused to follow suit. Dennis Kucinich is known for his opposition to the war in Iraq and the Patriot Act. He favors creating a Department of Peace. Kucinich is currently campaigning to end the war in Iraq by trying to cut off funding, and he opposes going to war in Iran . Kucinich has received many awards over his career praising his courage and his work for the peace movement. He is also a favorite among youth activists on the left. On December 12 , 2006 , Kucinich announced his candidacy at an event at Cleveland 's City Hall. [6]
U.S. Representative from Ohio's 10th congressional district : 1997-Present
Mayor of Cleveland : 1978-1979 Tom Vilsack , former Governor of Iowa
Tom Vilsack , born December 13 , 1950 , in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania , former Governor of Iowa , Chairman of the Democratic Leadership Council . Vilsack will be succeeded as governor by Iowa Secretary of State Chet Culver (D). Many suspected Vilsack was high on the list of potential running mates for John Kerry in the 2004 Presidential Election . He has recently been increasing his national exposure. [7] [8] In 2005, Vilsack established Heartland PAC , [9] a political action committee aimed at electing Democratic Governors and other statewide candidates. Unlike the PACs of potential candidates, Heartland PAC is not a federal PAC and can not contribute to federal candidates. On November 9 , 2006 , Vilsack announced that he would be filing papers with the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) to run for President. [10]
Governor of Iowa : 1999–2007
Announced candidates
These people have so far only formed exploratory committees to run for President.
Senator Joe Biden
Joe Biden , born November 20 , 1942 in Scranton , Pennsylvania , U.S. Senator from Delaware and 1988 Democratic primary candidate. Biden first hinted that he might run in a December 8 , 2004 radio interview with host Don Imus , saying: "I'm going to proceed as if I'm going to run." Biden has repeatedly stated his intention to run, and did so as early as 21 March 2006 . Biden 's Federal Leadership PAC is "Unite Our States", which tracks Biden 's public appearances and policy positions. On 7 January 2007 when asked by Tim Russert on Meet the Press "Are you running for President?" he responded, "I am running for President." He also said he plans to create an exploratory committee by the end of the month U.S. Senator from Delaware : 1973-Present
Senator Barack Obama Barack Obama , born August 4 , 1961 in Honolulu , Hawaii , U.S. Senator from Illinois . A "draft Obama" movement began with his well-received keynote address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention . Neil Young mentioned him as a potential President in his song "Looking for a Leader". In September 2006, Obama's Senate primary opponent Daniel Hynes , in an open letter published in the Chicago Sun-Times , urged Democrats to draft Obama for the 2008 Presidential race. [14] Also in September, Obama was the featured speaker at Iowa Senator Tom Harkin 's annual steak fry, a political event favored by presidential hopefuls in the lead-up to the Iowa caucus . He was endorsed by talk show host Rachel Ray in 2006 . [15] Most recently, TIME Magazine ran a cover story by Joe Klein with the headline "Why Barack Obama Could Be the Next President." [16] . On October 22 , 2006 , he acknowledged he was considering a run for president, backing off previous statements to the contrary. He said he would make a decision after the November 7 mid-term elections. [17] On a November 7 interview on CNN, Obama said he was likely to go back and reflect, talk with his wife, and not make a decision until January, 2007. Various recent opinion polls have seen Obama's support rising, with him trailing only Hillary Clinton in several polls. He says he will make a final determination in January after a two week vacation in Hawaii . On January 14 , 2007 , the Chicago Tribune reported that Obama has begun assembling his team for a 2008 presidential campaign to be headquartered in Chicago , Il . [19] On January 16 , 2007 CNN reported that sources "who work for Senator Obama" told reporters that Obama will be announcing the formation of a presidential exploratory committee before January 20 , and that he could make his first campaign visit to Iowa on the weekend of January 20 . [20] Later that day, Obama announced on his web site that he would file papers to create an exploratory committee that day, with a final decision to come February 10 . U.S. Senator from Illinois : 2005-Present . Has a Muslim background.
Governor Bill Richardson Bill Richardson , born November 15 , 1947 in California , Governor of New Mexico , former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations , Secretary of Energy and U.S. Representative. After reportedly informing party leaders in February 2005 of his intention to run for president, on December 7 , 2006 Richardson said "I am running" during his response to a prospective question about the 2008 presidential election by Fox News , however he later retracted the decision and said he would make an official decision by January. A Draft Richardson movement is now active. [7] He has formed an exploratory committee. [8]
Governor of New Mexico : 2003-Present United States Secretary of Energy : 1998-2001 United States Ambassador to the United Nations : 1997-1998
U.S. Representative from the New Mexico's 3rd congressional district : 1983-1997
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton
Hillary Rodham Clinton , born October 26, 1947 in Illinois, U.S. Senator from New York and former First Lady of the United States. Clinton announced her candidacy on 20 January 2007 with a post on her website. [21] She has delivered several speeches, including one on abortion, which analysts say are intended to reach out to moderates. She has also been a consistent, vocal supporter of America 's participation in the Iraq war, perhaps as part of an effort to shake perceptions of being overly liberal. She has also been holding fundraising meetings, including meeting with women from Massachusetts, a key constituency of potential rival and 2004 nominee John Kerry.(a) However, these activities are consistent with the lead up to a campaign for re-election to her Senate seat in 2006. Many Republicans appear to desire Hillary Clinton 's candidacy for President, presumably believing her to be a polarizing figure and thus easy to defeat. Her Federal Leadership PAC is HILLPAC.[22]
U.S. Senator from New York : 2001-Present
The people below have not formed a exploratory committees
General Wesley Clark (Ret.)
Wesley Clark , born December 23 , 1944 in Illinois , retired United States Army four-star general and former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO . He graduated first in his class from West Point . Clark is traveling widely through his Federal Leadership PAC WesPAC [9] , and is a commentator on FOX News , while grassroots campaigns for Clark have become active on the internet. [22] Clark was a 2004 Presidential candidate as well, narrowly winning the Oklahoma primary. During a January 17, 2007 speech given to a local UAW group in Alabama and posted on YouTube, Clark stated "when I run, I'll be the national security candidate."
Al Gore, former Vice President of the United States
Al Gore is a former U.S. Vice President from Tennessee and was the 2000 Democratic nominee . Gore and his family have commented upon whether or not Gore would participate as a candidate in the 2008 presidential election . In the December 12 , 2006 article, "Gore chases Oscar nod, possible 2008 bid," the Associated Press quoted Gore as stating, "'I am not planning to run for president again,' Gore said last week, arguing that his focus is raising public awareness about global warming and its dire effects. Then, he added: 'I haven't completely ruled it out'." [23] His son, Albert Gore III , followed with a comment in the December 14 , 2006 article " Albert Gore : Dad's Doing Well, Not Running in 2008":"I know that [my father] has no plans to run in 2008 [...] Well, I guess I have to add his addendum. I think the way he always says it is, 'I don't see any circumstances under which I would run for president." [24] In a December 29 , 2006 article, the Associated Press commented that: "The potential candidate best positioned to shake up the top tier is former Vice President Al Gore, whose movie about global warming and longtime opposition to the Iraq war give him a natural platform to enter the race, Democratic strategists said. Gore has said he has no interest in running for president in 2008, but he has been careful not to completely rule out a bid." [25] It was reported in The Boston Globe , that "Democratic sources say that in recent weeks, the former vice-president's camp has quietly put out feelers to presidential politicos, asking whether they are committed for 2008." As of mid-2006, Gore has seen a dramatic increase of support amongst the grassroots Democratic constituency, who have stated a high level of support for a possible Gore candidacy in recent polls taken by Daily Kos , with Gore leading all other possible 2008 Democratic nominees with 35% of respondents supporting him, and a surprisingly high number of respondents (68%), preferred Gore as the 2008 Democratic nominee in an AlterNet poll.
Vice-President of the United States : 1993-2001 U.S. Senator from Tennessee : 1985-1993 U.S. Representative from Tennessee's 6th congressional district : 1983-1985
U.S. Representative from Tennessee's 4th congressional district : 1977-1983
Reverend Al Sharpton
Al Sharpton of New York , Pentecostal minister, civil rights activist, former candidate for mayor of New York and for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senator from New York , and candidate for the 2004 nomination . When asked about 2008, he replied, "Don't get Hillary mad at me." [26] He was one of the first candidates to enter the 2004 race, but thus far he has said nothing more about 2008. His 2004 campaign was not a great success. He never got more than 10% of the vote in any state, although he did get 20% in the District of Columbia . [27] There are still unresolved campaign-finance issues left over from this campaign. According to a November 23 article in the New York Daily News , Sharpton said he is "considering" a presidential run in 2008, adding, "I'm waiting to see if someone raises the issues I want to see raised," said Sharpton, citing the Iraq war
Official candidates Republicans Candidates with exploratory committees
Jim Gilmore , former Governor of Virginia
A Draft Jim Gilmore for President group was formed in August of 2006, encouraging former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore to run for president after he was seen traveling to the presidential primary states. In November 2006, Gilmore told ABC News that a 2008 presidential run is one of several possibilities he is considering. On December 19, 2006 Jim Gilmore announced he is forming an exploratory committee for a presidential candidacy. Read more at Fox News . Gilmore announced on December 20, 2006 that he would launch his exploratory committee on January 2, 2007 .
Rudy Giuliani , former mayor of New York City
Rudy Giuliani , born May 28 , 1944 in New York , former mayor of New York City . Giuliani said on October 2, 2005 , that he would look at the possibility of running for President. On November 13, 2006 , he announced that he was forming an exploratory committee. He has led several state and nationwide polls for the Republican nomination and the general election, and has been mentioned by many media sources as a possible candidate since the 9/11 attacks and a speech to the 2004 Republican Convention. (see polls below) Giuliani is pro-choice and pro gay rights , which could hurt him in the primaries against a strong pro-life and anti- same-sex marriage candidate, such as Sam Brownback , Duncan Hunter , or Mike Huckabee . While opinions differ, some think that these positions could help him, should he secure the nomination, in the general election; others question whether the Republican base would support a nominee with Giuliani's social positions. Recently, Robert Novak has confirmed a Giuliani candidacy, though Giuliani has still not announced publicly.
Senator John McCain
John McCain , born August 29 , 1936 in the US-controlled Panama Canal Zone , Senator from Arizona . Often characterized as a Republican maverick in the Senate, he is a well-known political figure in the United States . His willingness to bipartisan compromise on judicial nominations and his strong support of campaign finance reform have drawn the ire of conservative groups, many of which have vowed to work against any McCain campaigns for the Republican nomination in 2008. However, he is a strong social conservative on many issues and economically falls more along the lines of traditional "fiscal conservatism." These factors, along with his commitment to the War on Terror and the Iraq War have boosted his popularity amongst conservatives since 2004, when he emphasized these traits while stumping for Republican candidates. Though, in 2006 , some social conservatives were angered when McCain voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment and because he did not campaign for Arizona 's state marriage amendment in 2005, although he did endorse it. In 2000, he failed in his attempt to deny George W. Bush the Republican nomination: McCain continued his ultimately unsuccessful campaign long after the other Republican candidates had united behind Bush. McCain was quoted by Men's Journal magazine as saying, "Presidential ambition is a disease that can only be cured by embalming fluid." On November 15th, 2006 , McCain announced that he would form an exploratory committee.
Representative Ron Paul Ron Paul , born August 20 , 1935 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania , U.S. Representative from Texas . On January 11, 2007 , Paul filed papers to form an exploratory committee for a presidential run in 2008. This will increase his fundraising opportunities until his presumed eventual anouncement. This first step of running for the Republican nomination is significant because he is not running as a Libertarian like he did nearly two decades ago.
Paul has the distinction of being opposed to the Iraq War and the interventionist nature of US foreign policy. He is one of 7 Republican congressman who voted against Iraq War authorization in 2003 . He has also opposed George W. Bush and the majority of Republican congressmen on many other issues, including the PATRIOT Act . His maverick record on these issues means he may draw support from some surprising circles, including antiwar activists and pale conservatives
Mitt Romney , former Governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney , born March 12 , 1947 in Michigan is the former Governor of Massachusetts . Romney did not seek a second term as Governor and has made numerous trips to primary states such as South Carolina , Michigan , and New Hampshire during recent years. Romney is running on his record as co-founder of Bain Capital , the CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympics , and as Governor of Massachusetts . Romney also worked with Massachusetts Democrats to pass a healthcare plan for all citizens of Massachusetts , which to require individuals to purchase private, market-based insurance plans to have healthcare. Although he ran as a moderate for the office of Governor of Massachusetts and during his failed Senate bid in 1994, he has supported more conservative positions as his term progressed. He requested the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court put a measure amending the Massachusetts Constitution to ban gay marriage on the 2008 ballot. It has also been speculated that his LDS faith may create complications.
Romney filed paperwork forming an exploratory on January 3 , the same day he left the governor's office.
On January 9 , Romney managed to raise $6.5 million in his first fundraiser, effectively beating both Giuliani and McCain's fundraising efforts (both of whom only managed to raise a meagre $1 and $2 million respectively). Many political commentators, including Bill O'Reilly have said on several occasions that Romney is the most likely candidate to win the Republican primary and the 2008 Presidential Election.
Representative Tom Tancredo
Tom Tancredo , born December 20 , 1945 in Colorado , U.S. Representative from that state and leading advocate for immigration reform. The Associated Press reported June 12 , 2005 that he is considering running. Tancredo is considered to be a long shot by many observers but has a dedicated grassroots following among pale conservatives . He has visited early Presidential primary states such as New Hampshire , Michigan and Iowa to begin building popular support and has polled favorably amongst grassroots Republicans. Tancredo announed on January 16, 2007 that he was forming an exploratory committee. There are several sites and blogs in support of a Tancredo run.
Tommy Thompson , former Governor of Wisconsin
Tommy Thompson , born November 19 , 1941 in Elroy, Wisconsin , is the former Governor of that state and was Secretary of Health and Human Services under President George W. Bush from 2001 to 2005. He recently announced interest in the 2008 nomination and, on December 15th 2006 , announced that he had formed an exploratory committee.
Candidates without exploratory committees
Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich , born June 17 , 1943 in Pennsylvania , former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and former U.S. Representative from Georgia . According to the Associated Press, "The former House speaker who led Republicans to power a decade ago said he soon will visit Iowa and New Hampshire to promote his book, try to influence public policy and keep his political options alive." The AP reported him as saying "Anything seems possible," including a White House race. Gingrich first explicitly suggested he may run in 2008 on October 13, 2005 , saying "There are circumstances where I will run", elaborating that such circumstances would be if no other candidate champions the major platform ideas that Gingrich advocates. Senator Chuck Hagel Chuck Hagel , born October 4 , 1946 in Nebraska , US Senator from that state. According to NPR Hagel is considering a Presidential campaign in 2008.There are a number of Draft Hagel blogs online in addition to multiple groups. However, despite being a fairly conservative Republican, he will face challenges from some elements of the party faithful due to his criticism of President Bush over the war in Iraq . It is widely thought that Senator Hagel will have trouble emerging from the shadow of John McCain , as they are both outspoken Vietnam veterans. The two friends differ on many issue positions, though, with Hagel being more traditionally conservative. He is the former CEO of the USO and Election Systems & Software , a leading manufacturer of electronic voting machines
Mike Huckabee , former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee , born August 24 , 1955 in Hope, Arkansas , Former Governor of Arkansas . Huckabee has been mentioned as a possible candidate for President in 2008 and, alternatively, as a possible challenger to incumbent Democratic senator Mark Pryor in that same year. He has made several trips to important primary states, including a four-day trip to New Hampshire in August, 2006. He had said he wouldn't announce his decision on running for the nomination until after leaving office on January 9, but no announcement has yet been made. George Pataki , former Governor of New York George Pataki , New York 's former governor did not seek a fourth term as Governor in 2006. Pataki has held meetings with his advisors and has quietly indicated to Republican leaders that he's very interested in the Republican nomination. Pataki's unfavorability rating was slightly higher than his favorable rating when he decided not to seek reelection, leading some to speculate that his decision was to avoid being defeated by Democratic Nominee and his successor Eliot Spitzer . Because Pataki is not as well known nationally as former New York Mayor and current presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani , and due to his moderate views on some social issues, he may have conflicts winning the nomination. Representative Mike Pence Mike Pence , U.S. congressman from Indiana , chairman of the Republican Study Committee ; mentioned in several articles. There are already at least four websites up hoping to recruit Mike Pence into the 2008 race .
Theses are just the two main political parties there are many more who think they will win. What makes theses people run?
Pride, bragging rights, Just to know that they have enough friends that will lie to them and tell them they can do it?
The chances are very slim if you haven’t done something outstanding to warrant the rest of the country to notice you and even then what have you done lately. The candidate below I found on his website, this is what he had to say. Who the hell is he, I have no Idea, would I vote for him according to this information you be the judge?
Randy Crow –Candidate 2008
My name is Randy Crow & I was born in Houston , Texas , February 12, 1946 . Presently I live in Wilmington , North Carolina . My father is the late Emmet P. Crow, Jr. born in Wilmington , North Carolina in 1910. My grandfather moved his family to Houston shortly after my father was born in 1910 where my father lived until he died at 81 years old in 1991. My mother is the late Carol Page Wilson born in Christiansburg , Virginia in 1915. I am the tenth generation or so grandson of Pocahontas through my mother and father. People seem to be fascinated by this fact. If I were to give my genealogy it would be very obnoxious because there is a herd of giants in it.
My mother was a sculptress, photographer, known and a loved by many person. She said one day the world was going to be one homogenous race and any woman who let another person decide what was done to her body was an idiot. Rich people have set up foundations in her name. A nice letter a sister received after Mother died stated, “I had a lot of admiration for her. I think that she “blazed" trails for women beyond her comprehension. That is stated lovingly - her independence and love of learning and fearlessness of what she could do allowed those of us who knew her to have the courage to do the same."
In 1946 my father left a $400 dollar a month job working for Anderson Clayton and went in business for himself in Houston and eight years later his company purchased the 14,000 acre Crow Ranch near Oakwood, Texas. Not bad, but the successes grow. When I was involved in the family's businesses a holding in Height's State Bank went from 2308 shares, 1967, to over 160,000 shares, 1983, of National Bancshares of Texas.
In 1961 I started attending the well known and loved prep school outside Orange Virginia , Woodberry Forest School , and graduated in 1965 after four years. At Woodberry I made good grades in Joe Rowe 's math and started as linebacker on the Junior Varsity undefeated football team and started on the all important first in many years undefeated 1964 Varsity football team coached by the great Harry Caughron . Harry Caughron "The Great" told me that after I graduated the Woodberry Varsity football program gave the Randy Crow “Hands" Award to the varsity football player who failed to catch the most catch-able interceptions. Readers may wonder why I include the phrase "The Great" when speaking of Harry Caughron . Its easy. Harry Caughron is simply one of the greatest people ever. Though I may walk to the beat of a different drum alone in some areas, there is a very large group who love Harry Caughron .
Col. Rogers was a bird and taught me US History. I will never forget Col. Rogers words, "The power to tax is the power to destroy." The class spent three months going through the US Constitution, word by word. It amazes me how well I understand the US Constitution and how many people do not understand it. Thank You Col. Rogers . My mother went to Col. Rogers ' class for parents' day and Col. Rogers ' asked something like was anyone kin to the Randolph 's. My mother modestly said we were kin a little. That was the first time I had heard the Randolph name mentioned in a big deal fashion, but it piqued my interest.
In 1970 I received a business administration degree from Sam Houston State University , Huntsville , Texas and a continuing education degree, 1980, in Studies of Advance Real Estate Subjects from Texas A & M, College Station , Texas . Many years I read 100 books per year and though I might not look like an intellectual, I am.
Since 1975 I have been a self employed businessman primarily connected with real estate, but I have worn many business hats. My high standard of living seems to mystify and anger some who can't understand where my money comes. With a smile I enjoy saying God sends me money or that my money tree has been bountiful. Actually I was raised to live conservatively and worked very hard to accumulate money which all has not been spent.
In 1994 I started having some weird events of a dirty trick nature enter in my life. It took me five or six years to figure what was going on and even to this day what was and is going on is a little unclear. One thing is for sure, I have gotten a PHD in the capabilities of clandestine forces. When I say the planes flown Sept 11 were flown by remote control, I know this is possible and an easy task because some of the dirty tricks played on me were more high tech. Experience tells me "Big George's" Shadow Government, New World Order, Zion’s, Omega Agency is up to no good and this evil is responsible for planning and implementing September 11, the war with Iraq, the DC sniper shootings, and many other dirty deeds. Big and Little George, and the Zion’s, are communist making war on the USA economy in the hope of making the USA & the world their communist fiefdom. A friend told me my experiences may have been "A Beautiful Mind" type of events. Possibly but even the most naive should know paranoia and confusion are basic tools of clandestine operatives. Certainly the bad guys mask their dirty tricks behind "the victim is nuts" explanations.
It is my guess a main reason some of what I say bothers old friends is because they know me as a person who tells the truth. What I have learned in this life which I did not expect to learn is the power of God. Two things I would like to say. God is very smart. God has it all under control.
In 1997 I started running for political office in an effort to stop the dirty tricks. Since then I have spent around $70,000.00 of my own money in thirteen political races comprised of Wilmington City Council (3), Mayor (1), NH County Commissioner (2), NC US House (2), NC US Senate (1), Democratic Presidential primaries (4) New Hampshire, 2, Louisiana, Texas. The dirty tricks have pretty well stopped or rather I have developed techniques to deal with them.
This web site had over 114,000 hits March, 2006 from around 17,000 individual Internet users from 14 regions. Readers from approximately 70 countries and hundreds of cities visit the site monthly.
The environment is very important to me developed through the ownership, building, and operation of a high tech sewage treatment plant, and working as ranch manager of the Crow Ranch for many years. My heroes are environmentalists.
People in the media make a big deal out of candidates winning elections. However they fail to point out that many candidates are elected by 10 percent of the eligible voters. This country boasts majority rule and yet basically never are candidates elected by the majority of the eligible voters. In Yugoslavia if 50% of the eligible voters do not vote the election does not count. If the USA played by the rules of this former communist country none of our elected officials would be in office!
Some of the activities I enjoy are bicycling, nature, reading, art, and staying active. In my opinion we are living in the evil time described in the Bible Book of Revelations and Zionists and bad guys are trying to rule the world and using wars they manipulate to get people to kill and imprison themselves.
Some people, usually Zionists' and communists, as a means of trying to nullify me, have said that I am prejudiced against Jewish people. This is not true. I was not raised to hate anyone or to be prejudiced against any person.
The form of government called Zionism is a wrong, racist, treason, and a bad form of government. Less than half of all Jewish people believe in Zionism. There are many fine Jewish people who believe in Jesus, doing good, Jesus' ways, God, pray all the time, are not racists, and are deeply disturbed when bad things happen to Christians and Muslims and all people.
Some people may say Zionism means the same as Jerusalem and Zionism is a desire for Jews to have a homeland. Wrong. A homeland is only a tiny part of Zionism. Meacham Begin definition of Zionism "Our race (speaking of a small cult of Jews) is the Master Race. We are divine gods on this planet. We are as different from the inferior races as they are from insects. In fact, compared to our race, other races are beasts and animals, cattle at best. Other races are considered as human excrement. Our destiny is to rule over the inferior races. Our earthly kingdom will be ruled by our leader with a rod of iron. The masses will lick our feet and serve us as our slaves." Being’s Zionism is backwards moving and racism. Intelligent people realize the planet has a choice, stop the racism, or die.
North Carolina , the United States , and the world has problems I would like to lend an hand in solving. Internet gamboling must be stopped because it is theft pure and simple. Any entity that gives you cards knows what your cards are and therefore it can never be beaten. The parade of bad guy evil boggles the mind. I would like voters to consider me as a moral compass seeking the high road.
This guy is just like the radical that is in the white House know maybe even worst. He sound like to me as a real Jew hater.
Get ready for the next two years of this. All just to bring it down to the final two. What a wait of time and money. There has to be a better way. I truly believe that the whole thing should be supported by the public not by big business or just the people with all the money. I know and I’m sure we all do, people that could not run for office but they are not lawyer’s or have the money to do so.
Here’s a kicker, not that I would like to run. But I think heath care could be solved very easily. As its said Money talks bull shit walks. The more you purchase the cheaper of what ever your buying will get.
I don’t know the exact number of people in the USA but lets say there are 8 Hundred million people in the USA . If we all just paid just $25.00 per person, what would that be over 20 million dollars a month? I think that that would be enough to have every man woman and child covered with health care just as good as the Senators and Congress people get.
Let’s vote for some with common sense this time. Let elect some one that will look out for the people not special interest
